Easy games

Hi everybody,
I was surfing on the web, looking for some games voor iso. Did not find something suitable for him, but maybe for others?
On the website of oneswitch.org (http://www.oneswitch.org.uk/4/games/0index.htm) I found some links to online games for switch users. Not everything of it is usefull for Tobii users, but some things are.
Especially the website of Papunet has some nice drawing games, easy sudoku's, puzzles, etc.
Maybe it can be of any use for the younger children under us.

Nathaliev:

Hi Jilke,

Are you playing games at the MyTyobii?
A person from Kompagne said it is bath for the MyTobii.
But what have you got for advice?

Jikke:

Hi Nathaliev,
I don't have a MyTobii myself but I'm working with someone (his name is Iso) who owns a MyTobii. He would love to have a autoracing game on his Tobii. Right now he only playes online games, which cannot affect your Tobii.

Of course Kompagne will tell you not to install anything on your Tobii. So no games, no other software, no flash of direct X. Because everything can be a possible danger. As they left the MyTobii it was working fine. But with anything you're changing, there's a possibility that it will stop functioning.

But with a good backup, a good firewall and some common sense (do not download at random but only from "good websites") I think it will be allright.
When there are problems, I can help Iso to put back his backup and then everything is allright agian. If you don't know how to put back the backup, I think it is not wise to experiment with downloading and installing games.

So if you know Kompagne, you live in the Netherlands too. May I ask in which town? I live in Amsterdam and Iso lives in a town near Alkmaar.

This is so cool! I will try to run this game on my P10. If I manage then I'll upload my video. If not I just have to wait for my C12 to arrive.

Jikke:

Yeah, the game is great. Iso can play it on his P10. No problem. I made a button on VS communicator so he can replay the game on his own. Before someone has to use the escape button. Now he can do it himself.
It's a great game!

chris147:

which game are you playing? the racing game? what settings do you use?

Jikke:

Well I don't own (or need) a MyTobii myself. But the young guy Iso is. He uses the Windows control so he can click on icons on his desktop. That's where I put the icon of Racer (the racing game Thomas wrote about). He can start up the game himself and play the first round. But then you have to type the excape key on the keyboard, so I made one button in VS communicator which simulates the escape key. So now Iso can restart the game himself. That's all there is to settings. I guess you can make a button whith your communication software too (you use a different software, don't you?).
Jikke

chris147:

Thanks for your comment Jikke. I use the Tobii Communicator and another software side by side so creating a cell with pressing the escape button is not a problem for me. The problem is that the game - racer - doesn't run on my P10. I will have to look into it, now that you mentioned that you managed to run the game on Iso's computer.

Jikke:

Well, good luck with it. First time it worked well, then suddenly it didn't anymore. Then I installed it again and then it worked all right again.

chris147:

Thanks Jikke,

I just found out that I downloaded the beta version first, hence the game didn't run on my P10. Now, with the last stable version I have no problems. Having said that, I find controlling the car complicated at the moment.
